Oh I'm sure whatever peanuts are available would make milk, I am just not sure it would taste just like this product, which isn't really at all peanutty in the way that peanut butter is.
I never knew that about peanuts and resveratrol. That must be what the peanut milk site raves about. It's getting lots of attention as an anti-aging and healing compound.

James Duke, in Green Pharmacy, says that the skins of red skinned peanuts are high in oligomeric procyanidins which help to protect the heart.

When I was little I loved Spanish peanuts the best. They had pretty thick skins. We used to go shopping at Sears Roebuck, and I would get a small bag of them from the snack bar to keep me quiet while my parents shopped.

I don't like peanuts very much. I prefer salted but don't eat them because they are salty.

Oh I love them. Always have. It was a really big deal when I was a kid when my Mom came home from the store with a big bag of unshelled peanuts. My Dad would pour them into a big salad bowl and we would stand there shelling them and munching on them.

About the only time we had nuts was at Christmas. Brazils, almonds and hazelnuts still in their shells.

I made a chocolate milkshake last night, and I blended in some crunchy peanut butter. It was nutty mmmmmmmmm.
